What happens when I have a warranty claim?
Our warranty conditions differ by country, so check with your local dealer. In the United States, we will repair or replace a faulty frame as well as certain components. If this is not possible, we will provide a credit note. Please keep in mind that the suspension, drivetrain, and e-bike drive units, batteries, controls, and other components are covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Can you send warranty items for my Marin directly to me?
To ensure that your bike is returned to perfect working order, we will only send warranty replacement equipment to Marin dealers for replacement.

What is bike registration required for?

Furthermore, if you lose your serial number, you can contact our customer care department to obtain it. Just keep in mind that registering your bike does not show original ownership, so you will still need a proof of purchase from your Marin dealer to receive warranty coverage.
What should I do if my bicycle gets stolen?
Contact your local police enforcement to report the theft. Try to provide a description of your bike, some high-quality images, and your frame serial number. It also helps to spread information about the theft on social media or through other networks, such as local bike shops. We also strongly recommend Bike Registry.
I purchased my Marin bicycle from Performance Bicycle, how do I receive warranty service?
If you purchased a Marin bicycle from Performance Bicycle and it requires warranty service, please take it to the nearest Marin dealer. To complete any warranty claims, the dealer will need a copy of your original purchase receipt. Our warranty is only valid if the bicycle was purchased from and constructed by an authorized Marin dealer.
