Marin Mountain Bikes, Inc. ("Marin") assures to the original retail purchaser ("you") that the Marin product for which you received this warranty is free of defects in material and workmanship for the periods specified in the warranty table below.

Complete Bicycle
The entire bicycle is assured for one year (from the date of purchase), including all original parts excluding tires, tubes, chains, and other wear and tear items. This guarantee covers both paint and decals.
This warranty period begins on the date of the original retail purchase and is only applicable in North America. For warranty information in other countries, please contact the distributor in your country. The warranty is only valid if the bike was purchased from and constructed by an authorized Marin dealer.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty does not cover suspension forks or rear shocks on full-suspension bikes. These items are covered under the suspension component manufacturer's warranty. If you require a warranty, please contact the manufacturer of the suspension component.
This warranty is only applicable to the original retail purchaser of the product and cannot be transferred to a subsequent purchaser. Marin's only obligation under this guarantee is to either, in its discretion:
1. Repair the reported defect at no cost.
2. Exchange the product for a new or functionally equivalent replacement.
3. Marin will determine the amount of credit that can be used to purchase a new product. Marin must be notified in writing of any claim under this guarantee within 60 days of any alleged lack of conformity of the product.
4. If your bike is discovered not to be under warranty, you may be responsible for some labor charges at your local bike shop, as well as some transportation costs, including return shipment.
The length of any implied warranty or condition on this product, whether of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or otherwise, is limited to the duration of the express warranty stated above. Marin shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage, whether direct, incidental, consequential, or otherwise, resulting from a breach of any express or implied warranty or condition, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise with respect to this product, except as expressly stated herein. Some states or countries may not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, and others do not allow exclusions or limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions listed above may not apply to you.
This warranty provides you with specified legal rights, and you may have additional rights that differ by location. This guarantee will be interpreted in accordance with United States legislation. The original English language version/meaning of this warranty governs all translations, and Marin is not liable for any inaccuracies in translation of this guarantee or product instructions.
No organization or person (including Marin employees or agents) is permitted to alter, increase, or extend this guarantee, or to make any other express or implied warranties on Marin's behalf. This warranty is not intended to bestow any extra legal, jurisdictional, or warranty rights on you beyond those stated herein or required by law. If any part of this guarantee is found to be defective or unenforceable for any reason, it will not void the rest of it.
Useful Product Life
Bicycles have an unquantifiable useful life. The usable life of a bicycle is influenced by riding style, riding circumstances, frame material and construction, and other things. Marin's warranty period does not ensure that the bicycle will endure indefinitely or for the life of the original customer. Bicycles should be inspected on a regular basis by an authorized Marin dealer or experienced bicycle mechanic to identify any flaws that could cause a failure. Marin Bikes will assess whether or not to cover a failed frame under this warranty based on an examination of the failure, useful life, and any other relevant criteria.
To get warranty service: To exercise your rights under this limited warranty, bring the complete bicycle to an authorized Marin dealer for examination, together with a receipt, bill of sale, or other relevant written proof of purchase that identifies the bicycle by serial number. Any labor, postage, insurance, or shipping fees incurred when sending your product for servicing are the owner's responsibility. Marin is not liable for any missing or damaged merchandise during shipping.
Warranty Determination: Once received by Marin or an authorized Marin warranty center, the product will be evaluated to establish whether it is covered by the Marin warranty. Only Marin or an authorized Marin warranty center can evaluate if a product is warranted. If the product is not covered by the warranty, the customer is responsible for all replacement, repair, labor, and shipping expenses. Marin cannot return unrepairable, unwarranted products to customers if they are unsafe to use in their unrepaired state.
No merchant or distributor may make any claims about what is or is not covered by this guarantee without Marin's express written approval. If a retailer or distributor replaces a product without first consulting Marin, the retailer or distributor is solely responsible and may not be refunded. When a product or part is exchanged, the customer receives the replacement item, while Marin retains ownership of the returned product, which may be destroyed.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not include the following:
Products that have been modified, ignored, or badly maintained; utilized commercially; mistreated or abused; or involved in an accident. It is your obligation to inspect the product on a regular basis to decide whether it requires routine maintenance or replacement.
Damage occurred during product shipment (such claims must be presented directly to the shipper).
Marin sold or distributed products that are covered by another seller's warranty; this Marin warranty does not extend, alter, or replace any other warranty.
Products whose serial numbers or other distinguishing markers (such as decals) have been altered, defaced, or removed.
Products that are purchased used or in non-new condition without their original packing.
Damage to products caused by incorrect assembly or repair (or the techniques employed), the use or installation of parts or accessories that are incompatible with the product's original intended use, or the failure to follow the product's warnings, installation, and use instructions.
This guarantee is not valid if the original product decals are removed.
